Sources

• US Bureau of Labor Statistics, OEWS (May 2025 data). Hourly wage 10th percentile, median and 90th percentile, nationally and for the Boston, Austin and Denver metro areas, pulled from the free BLS public API. These are worker wages, not customer prices. bls.gov/oes

Index rule

A city page needs at least 3 real local data points before it can be indexed. Today every city page has 3 local BLS wage points.

Gaps

We have no free, citable local job price data for any city, and no national job cost guide yet for movers, painters or pet sitters.
